OUR RETURN TO CLASSES IN SUMMER 2021

GUIDANCE FOR PARENTS & STUDENTS

We are really looking forward to returning to classes at our venues on 17th April.

We are running our complete timetable with only one or two minor changes. Street Dance and Grade 2 Tap and Modern have swapped venue and Intermediate Foundation Ballet is now at Bluebell Hill Village Hall.  See the timetable here. If you aren't sure which class you are in now please contact us bbschooldance@gmail.com

Our terms will now be 6 weeks and you will be invoiced for 6 weeks. We will continue to send invoices by email and receive payment by BACS. Uniform can be ordered by email or phone and paid for by BACS.

We will still be operating under Covid Secure restrictions:

Social distancing in class and while waiting, and hand sanitising will still be in place. There will be 10 -15 minutes between each class cohort to allow time for us to sanitize common touch points/areas. Class sizes will be limited to ensure we can observe social distancing guidelines in class. Modern and Contemporary classes with floorwork should bring an exercise mat. You may not dance in bare feet.

Current guidance advises against wearing masks for physical activities. Face masks are not recommended for children of primary school age. We will therefore not be asking our students to wear face masks. The only exception is at Bluebell Hill Village Hall where the Hall Committee have particularly asked for this to be in place when entering and leaving the building. If students wish to wear a face mask of course they can, and anyone who has a valid reason for not wearing one will of course be exempt.

For more details please read our Guidance for Parents and Students document below.

Parents of older students, please encourage our Bluebells to read it for themselves. Parents of younger students, please explain anything you think you need to to our little Bluebells so they know what to expect when they come. Thank you.

Our COVID-19 Risk Assessment document is also below if you wish to read this.
