Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and ballet. It includes floor and contact work.
Bluebell is one of very few dance schools in the local area offering a structured contemporary dance syllabus. It is a fusion of the most well known contemporary dance styles – Graham, Cunningham and Limon.
It has a strong emphasis on creativity so if you like to make up dances, contemporary dance class is the place to come and enhance your choreographic skills.
Contemporary dance is the dance style most commonly taught in schools, so if you are studying GCSE Dance or Performing Arts our Contemporary Dance syllabus perfectly compliments this.
We offer Contemporary Dance from 7 years.
